Oh different issue then. If you flash a tsb, tune, or it loses power for long enough - it’ll start and die the first time. Then you start it and it runs fine.

it caught me off guard the first time but it’s something to do with the immobilizer system and normal. Just not something most people experience unless you are messing around with things :anonymous:

but that sounds like not the issue you had

Oh, I wonder if that's what happened with the 4Runner today. Because it did run fine when I restarted it. But, I just remember that happening with the old one. To be fair. That was probably 240,000 miles worth of carbon buildup in the old one. I've put on 102,000 on this one already, but it still feels pretty new. :)

Another afternoon spent with the truck:

The chase light is on a strong magnet with a carriage bolt through it, the light is double nutted at the end of the carriage bolt. It plugs into the flat4 trailer plug and works with the running lights.

I still have to make some curtains for the windows on the cap...something like what Dan @Taco-Grinder has. Little by little...

This looks awesome! You might need a dimmer for those lights. :D

I actually wish mine had an option to dim because just the other night when I woke up real early and turned the light on it was like a flashbang went off lol. I just use my phone flashlight in the middle of the night.

Maybe add a small, dim light on a separate switch. :notsure:

I was thinking if I ever got too annoyed I would just Velcro a battery-powered one to the ceiling.

I'll always have my head light in arm's reach, set on red if I wake up in the middle of the night.

Just hook up a dim light to a clapper.
