He lives right down the street from me. The build is impressive, Denis has got talent and is one motivated dude. Can't wait to line up the V8 taco vs. the Procharged FJ. :burnrubber:

Went for a ride after work yesterday on my Giant trance at Fullerton Loop. What a stress reliever, I need to wash my bike, it’s been a while

The one you roll upwards to, like a blind goalpost to doom. Has a tiny wood ladder to help clear the hole on the bottom. The one that just appears is just super jank and wants to eat your tire and send you face first into rocks. I had to walk-of-shame both, but swore revenge.
Edit: looking at posted pics, it looks like it used to be built up so you can just launch the thing. Not that way now!
Some days I get mad at myself. Some days I remember I'm 48 and have a shit-load of responsibilities which do not mix well with injuries.

Speaking of washing bikes... how often are yall washing your bikes? I was doing it after every ride. (Which is once, MAYBE twice a month). I've read that's excessive, and can do more "harm than good". Not too worried myself, since its just a cheap hardtail.

    Still... what's yall's thoughts?

hahahah. yeah...i wlaked both the first time. i think the first one that just appears...the line is on the spine to the right a tiny bit. and the on ethat you roll upwards up to...just carry momentum and you can glide over it. just need to go do it now. hahahah.

Toyota is sponsoring Outerbike in Crested Butte in a few weeks. Not many bike brands going to be there it appears though.

I wash them when needed. Might be after every ride in the Spring and Winter, might be once a month when things dry out in the Summer. Regardless of the wash schedule, I keep the chain clean and lubed. After a wash, I wipe the bike down with silicone spray and it keeps dirt from sticking to it, also makes clean ups easier. I spray it on a rag and wipe it on the bike, just like a wax. Just have to be very careful not to get it on the brakes.

I wash it down with sweat every ride.

jk, I typically just hit em with a microfiber and some detailing spray unless they get really muddy or disgusting. Then actual wash with soap and water, maybe once every few months.

I spent an hour yesterday trying to make the T-Type burp by shifting in the worst way possible. Shifting while under full power (granted, I don't generate 500 watts) and full power going over roots, standing up. There is no longer any need to soft pedal. The hype is well deserved. It's very quiet shifting (compared to Eagle or Eagle AXS, XTR) and feels super smooth. I can imagine T-Type would be good on e-Bikes with the increased power output.

Got back to one of my faves. Crazy that there’s still snow around in August.

Finally getting my bike back Wednesday from a warranty replacement rear wheel. Installing a Tannus insert this time around to see if it helps.

    anyone have experience with these?

I must know where this is!

I'm on an east coast beach trip right now and I'm drooling over this line.

Spent the last couple days in Brevard/Kanuga. Didn’t get many pics, other than trailhead Toyotas and pics with my GF. Good times, trip was too short.
