Btw….. I LOVED the maintenance clerk job!!! I don’t think I regret not taking it because it was a pay cut, but if anything changed, I would seriously consider it

Overall the Ops expects proficiency in the position within 6 months. The person in that position has only been there 5 months. I don’t think he’s going anywhere soon. I turned down the position because of the pay cut from my current position. Being a back up works cuz I keep my pay while I’m in there. However, that job deserves a pay increase!!!

I’m as far as I can go in my current position. No more room for growth. I’m feeling stagnant and have since before Maxx. I’m growing so much as a person and have made huge leaps personally the past 6 weeks or so. Then had another growth spurt the past several days. It’s weird cuz these growths have been obvious changes inside. It’s encouraging to keep working on myself. I wouldn’t be in a position to recognize these needed changes if things hadn’t happened with Maxx. I’m learning lessons I needed to learn that I wouldn’t have if it didn’t happen. My baby boy was so protective of me and always tried to take care of me…… it’s like he’s still there helping me❤️❤️❤️
I wish he was here to see it physically tho. He’d give me one of his great big hugs that he was known for.

I will honor him by continuing to grow in a way that could only have been triggered by what happened. I would most likely have stayed stagnant in my personal life otherwise. I will not let his death be for nothing. He deserves more honor than that. I love and miss him so much I can’t even explain. The year date approaching feels like you are sliding off a roof…. That panic you feel in your gut as you’re slipping. You know what’s coming and you can’t stop it….. and you know how it’s gonna end and it’s gonna fucking hurt like hell.

Steps forward are a win. Two steps forward one back is still forward ❤️

Sometimes the backwards feels like a sprint, but I’ll make it back to forward motion❤️
