The whip doesn’t have any adjustment screws, so I’ll probably try using a fiberglass one I have sitting about. Hopefully that works.

    Very quick testing yields this:
    3’ firestick SWR over 3
    4’ firestick SWR between 2 and 3.

Only other variable is the 4’ firestick has a spring on it already, and I can’t get it off.

Took my daughter to seekonk speedway last night. Son stayed home, still recovering. There was some action to be had. Fight almost broke out, guy totaled a C5, some other big accidents as well

    20mph? School zone?

There's a couple times I thought I got tagged, but never received anything in the mail. I've been pretty good at avoiding routes with cameras and speed humps in Providence. I also think half of the roads with camera signs don't actually have cameras.

So far, the only speed camera to ever tag me is 4000 miles away, next to a highway known for no speed limit of all places.

Some cameras are only active when school is in. Or they're always active but won't process the violation if schools out. The east Providence Facebook pages were hilarious the last day of school asking when the cameras would be turned off.

One street that comes to mind is Daniel Ave. There's a camera sign at only one end of the street. But I haven't seen any actually cameras. They're usually the size of a mailbox, or bright white mounted high up on a pole.

Picked up some headlight filter plates from meso in cement for cheap, should I leave em as is as an accent or buy some BBP spray and color match? If I go the color match route I'll more than likely attempt to patch my peeling bedside as well lmao

They moved the spec drags to Saturdays? I haven't been in over a decade but they used to be on Sundays which made Mondays miserable. Once they banned seat cushions / coolers / etc I was pretty done for a bit. I should go back.

I occasionally see the footage on IG and haven't seen anyone I remember there in a long time outside of the guy with the dark gray 78-81 Z28.

I was just talking about Seekonk Speedway yesterday. It's probably been over a decade for me too. I remember most of the cars racing being the usual rwd V8s. Last time I went, I think a Camaro won, but 2nd was a turbo Volvo wagon and 3rd was a Dodge Omni. Most of the drivers of the rwd cars couldn't drive.

Speaking of Dodge Omni, my friend's mother had one. The radio occasionally stopped working. Kicking the front right tire usually fixed it, but only that tire.

At that point I'd just leave it off, I wanna smooth that part of the bumper/headlight over. And it's a tiny spot so I'm not terribly concerned with it matching well, just enough
