I’ve read theyre made in China
They appear to have solid sides without windows like RSI smartcap option
    Which seems dumb

and I believe they are taking pre orders
As in you pay money, wait a long time, and don’t have anything for that time

I may be wrong. Maybe they have a window option.

In a fiberglass shell you have windows and carpeted headliner to avoid condensation. Mosquito screens. You can mount a fan and crack window to sleep at night.
So to me windows is non negotiable.
Unless there’s a vent fan that does the same.

aluminum does look appealing in general. It’s lighter. Can have integrated roof cargo carry system to avoid spending more on a rack that adds weight, if your shell even accepts it/came with reinforced roof (no idea how to check if mine did)

I’ll definitely avoid Bynd! That’s crazy, alu-cab contour, or smartcap. I wonder if material differences would make any difference in inside temps. I know you cannot open the smartcap from the inside, now I’m wondering about the contour

white color reduces temps. Or reflective metal. And insulation. But with enough time heat will creep in. As well as through glass. Tint helps.
Only way to deal with that is an AC, vent, and/or fan. Obviously not as hot at night if you sleep in there ever. Unless it’s summer in AZ.
