Pulled the transmission, clutch and flywheel. Replaced master and slave cylinder. Flywheel gets resurfaced tomorrow. If they get it done fast enough, maybe I drive this to work on Tuesday

The liquid is definitely water and only sits right above where the cat is. No coolant level changes either. I’ve run a rod into the evap drain as well as compressed air nothing came out. It drains pretty good from what I can tell. I also can’t find any water “run marks” anywhere. Took it for a 40 mile drive today full a/c and saw nothing.

Next thing is going to be spray the windshield with a hose for 15min and see if that causes a leak. Such a frustrating situation.

Make sure you get water on the roof above the windshield as well. A poorly-installed windshield can lead to trapped water, which can lead to corrosion, which can lead to a failed seal.

Will do. I’m fearing it may be the infamous cowl seal leak, though I’m actually really hoping it’s the damn windshield that’s just much easier.

Man I feel your pain. I'm stuck waiting for parts that don't exist! Waiting for parts to create the parts I need.

i could still put the cab on and have it ready to run.. but man.. its so easy to do the power steering lines right now i dont want to wait. LOL

took this delay as an excuse to get the rear axle cleaned up and painted.. the underside of the bed is done already.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Has anyone else had problems with the J-shift case popping out of gear when under load? (By under load I mean going down hill using the gears to slow you).

I was having that problem with my back transfer case (crawl box), but that issue seems to be resolved with a Marlin Crawler heavy duty spring. I can't remember if there is a similar spring on the front (J-shift) case.

Mines popped into natural before after pushing the clutch in after a decel in gear. Went to get back on the gas and it was in neutral. Never popped out of low tho, just from 4hi to N

So, it's the same spring for both? If so, I'll order now.

Ya, this popped out of Lo, into N, when I was slowing down at the top of a steep downhill.
