lol - took the tail of the Dragon with our JKRU and off road trailer back in 2021, was a great time.
We stayed at Lake Santeetlah and headed out the tail, good times.

 

Upgraded the wheels tires + the suspension to a Fox setup on my 19’ Long Bed

I let the dealer change the oil, cause I don't want to change the ecu or the entertainment display.

Its a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

 

Something about that front end looks different between the two pics

 

the only mod to the front end is that I changed the grill…

 

If you're wiring to a switch panel like an Auxbeam AR800 the 2 blue wires for the backlights go to their own circuit (5 amp should suffice) the 2 red wires go to another circuit (15 amp or 20 amp depending on which lights you have and what they draw; I used 20 amp for ss3 pro ditch lights) and the 2 black wires go to a ground elsewhere on the truck like a battery terminal or ground on driver's side fender. You'll have a button for backlights and a button for normal ditch lights with this method.

 

There is no shift linkage. The gear shift lever directly engages the shift rods at the top of the transmission. There is nothing to adjust.

 

Ah, I see. My Tacoma's an auto, but my 4th gen Camaro is a 6spd.

 

True! It took me a bit to find the spot to reset it in the radio…I took notes this time!!!

 

This is how I wired mine to my 8 switch auxbeam and it works great. Blue to 5 amp and red to 20 amp

 

Had no choice to get where we're were going.
It was actually a lot of fun, we took it at around 4:30am.

Hell yeah, haha. I used to go every year for Miatas at the Gap, but haven't been in a while. My Miata is currently not running so I figured screw it, I'll run the Tacoma down there We just set up at Fontana Dam. It's mostly just turned into our annual camping/driving meet at this point. We had a guy with a V8 porsche, built/turbo NB, mine and a buddy's Tacoma, and one dude brought his Grom lol.

Try music with the widest dynamic range, and sound-field / separation. My vote would be just about anything engineered by Alan Parsons.
