I swear this Toyota has more clicks than a Xhosa Tribal Couple having a Marital Argument. Seems like something is always clicking a relay open or closed automatically. Feels very 1996ish.

But the click in question is one that I can't seem to attribute to any particular action.

When I start up and drive off, about one house away from my drive way, there is an audible click behind the dash. Da hell is this one clicking for? No cruise control, no 4wd, no crawl control, nothing is on or doing / working other than engine, transmission, and occasionally the AC - but it clicks with that off too.

Is this just the "congrats you are driving" click?

Considering it comes from the brake pedal area, I think that's probably it. Thank you.

+1 on the ABS self-check. It does it once when you first put it into D.
