I bought mine individually and got two of the low tone, I like the sound better than the one of each.

We have so many clients out that way, so I'm always hanging around the reservoirs. Make it a point to leave extra early when I am since it takes like 45 to even hit the highway some days

All that it takes. All you need to show is that YOU did everything right. The rest can be pieced together.

Obviously not needed in this case at least. Glad nobody got hurt and it was just some slider protection needed. Love coming out to find random paint smears from someone who can't park on my sliders. Should set up parking mode on my dashcam so I can ping their insurance just for the fun of it.

The horn sounds like something Cadillac would have used back in the 60's and 70's. He was having trouble people almost running him off the road (like you, people not knowing or caring how to merge). Since he put the horns on, it has been a non-issue!

That feeling when your truck is making ANGRY noises, you're worried it's something serious and you have a big trip this weekend, but you hit the leaf springs with a can of silicone lubricant for 2 minutes and the sound goes away.

I find it interesting that they deviate from calling it an "access cab" and instead seem to call it an "Extended cab four door" vs "Crew Cab four door" for a real 5 seater

I didn't want to hit the 'quote' button 17 times to throw my $0.02 in on the conversation about horns, so I'll just nose into it and everyone else can assume I've read their earlier replies.

My factory horns died a while back. Went with the Supertones as a replacement. They aren't much louder in terms of raw dB, but as others have said, the sound definitely gets attention and really cuts right through a lot of traffic noises. I've also noticed I can hear them more clearly/sharply inside the cab, and also from inside the house when I sit on the alarm button on the keyfob, than I used to be able to with the factory horn.

Louder isn't always better - a grown man can definitely yell louder than a baby, but a baby crying sure cuts through a whole crowd of adults to get everyone's attention fast.

Definitely going to use that quote

PIAA is the other one I was trying to think of. Kinda might do this myself, as people pretty much suck out loud.

Yeah you should. Minimal time and cost to do it, and if your cam supports it why not use it.

    t
Oh don't get me started. A few weeks ago was in traffic and for about 4 miles had a lady behind me with her phone in her right hand, outstretched almost to the windshield all that time. Got to where I would stop a good 2 car lengths behind the car in front of me and watch her in my mirror, as she got close to an almost stop I'd slide forward in the space I left because I was so nervous she would hit me.

Moreso, (and some of you know this already) my wife was rearended by a texter Christmas week. You don't want to see all the medical bills, lost wages, and how long she couldn't drive or do other things for herself. Major concussion, vision issues, just had arm surgery. Nuff said.

For the sake of all that is holy the caliper I replaced in 2018 is most likely seized on the interior...Front left caliper...
