I have an '04 2.7L that I use for my work vehicle. I am a residential electrician so I have lots of bits and bobs that I carry with me daily. i have a light camper shell with my tools and whatnot in it.

It has the original leaf springs on it and is pretty damn saggy. Looking to swap out the leaf springs and was hoping for some recommendations on leaf springs that would be supportive enough and also fit.

Also, having hoses beginning to crack and break and want to go through most of them and replace, especially any of those looking suspect. Anyone have a link to the hose diagram and with the accompanied part numbers?

    Much appreciated!!

For leafs many have used General Springs, but a few have had bad customer service issues with them. They have a heavy duty version geared for those who haul extra weight often. Deaver and Alcan springs both make higher end, custom packs that offer better ride, with equal or better load capacity (albeit at significantly higher price points).

For your vacuum hose project, I'd check out Partsouq.com

If you enter in your truck's details (engine type, trans type, year, frame, etc), it'll give you a clickable parts diagram (with part #'s) for any assembly area of the truck. And their prices tend to be quite good too.

I did a shop kit from siliconeintakes.com for my vacuum hoses. No complaints, I just used the old ones as templates.

Is the 04 subject to the recall for replacement of leaf strings under warranty? I got my 06 leaf springs replaced for free by Toyota

No- the 1st gen trucks didn't have the leaf spring issues.

@OP, if you're constantly carrying weight get the HD pack. General Springs, Doorman, Huskey from RockAuto, etc.. they are all the same spring (look at the part numbers).

Yep, I just got the General Springs Heavy Duty set installed yesterday as I'm always carrying a camper shell and carpet kit in the bed.
