    On my son's 2011, he was just using the AC, then turned it off and went to heat to defrost window, now it won't go back to cold. The AC compressor is turning on, the fuses and relays look good, the refrigerant pipes are cold, there's plenty of coolant in the system. It just seems that it's simply just blowing hot and the control knob is not working to switch is back to cold. Moving from hot to cold yields the same temp, if I turn it all the way to AC, the AC light will turn on and the compressor engages but the temp of the air won't change. What else could it be? Thank you.

    The issue is that the temp control knob won’t change the temp at all, even without the ac on, it’s just kind of stuff on full hot, not even ambient temperature will come through

    Check the blend door actuators as outlined in the post I linked to above.
