I believe next spring’s trip is settled the wife booked a flight into Denver and onyx and I will pick her up there. And go over the hills into Utah. The boy and I will leave early and camp our way out I don’t get homesick and she does so I believe this will work out great it will cut out a week or so of her time away from home. And the boys can take our time getting there or get out as quickly as possible and hang out some. If this works out Denver sets up as a good hub for several different trips. She played with the days and got a first class ticket nonstop into Denver for just under 30000 points and 5 dollars and change. If we were going a little later I would go north into Wyoming instead that will probably be next. But mid April is probably way early to go that direction.

Good evening, everyone. There were severe thunderstorm alerts this afternoon when I was leaving werk. I stopped in the bigger town to the south of where I live ( the town with stores...) and as I was checking out, the loud "boom" was heard along with rain so hard, it sounded like there was no roof on the store. All hell was breaking loose. I was literally 5 minutes too late to get to the Taco w/o getting me skivvies soaked.

Right after this pic, the power went out in the grocery store, then the power poles at the front edge of the parking lot got blown over and a transformer blew up. I waited another 3 minutes and decided that I needed to get out of there.

When I got home, I saw that another of my neighbors trees had got broken and was blocking the road. By the time I got inside and changed into work clothes, there were cars backed up on both sides. this little road usually doesn't have much traffic.

I helped out a few other people that were pitching in to cut it up and move it out of the way after screaming at an asshole that was trying to drive on my side hill to go around the tree when there were cars backed up on either side of the tree.

About an hour later, most of the mess was cleared and traffic was moving, I started to look around my house for any damage and found this.

Apparently the gas grill got blown off of the old deck and onto the ground. I dragged it under the deck and straightened things enough so that I could close the lid. It did fire up but it's done, I don't trust it to not blow up on me and every panel is broken or dented/bent. Ugghh, but at least the house didn't get any damage ( that I could see. I need to check the shingles)

Last Thursday, little Rugby came by for a visit. After running around like a little demon spawn, he jumped up on the sofa, smacked my arm until I moved it. He kinda settled in and just took a 30 minute nap.

Tank was overflowing on on job, a 50' rise to the street. Thought the pump died, drained it pulled the pump up, turned out to be the electrical at the cabin. Not my fault.

Agreed… I got a birthday card from a good friend that said turning forty is not the worst thing that can happen to you…Falling head first into a septic tank and having to open your mouth to call for help is! He gave me a Costco sized bottle of Listerine. Best card/gift combo ever.

I try everything I can before I suit up and go in after one. They are easier today than when we built ours when we put ours in you did two conventional septic tanks one to settle the solids and the other one has the pump in it. I’ve had to replace two so far this year but I got lucky on one I broke everything loose from above. But the other one I had to pump it out suit up and go in after it. I am curious what someone would charge to do them but we have always done them ourselves. Which means Marty does them o_O

Nope! All went across the southern end of Flathead Lake. Two nights ago drove in heavy sprinkle for 5 minutes coming back from Elmo. That's been it. The Seeley area and maybe up to Elmo got some rain. Not sure on the amounts though.
