I think that might be the wrong plug. Look in that blue thing by your hand very hard to get to and connect. I too had thought I had the wrong set up but it's very hard to reach and will fall back into the door part.

great now i really need to clean my shop and get my family members cars out of my shop! sadly, I've to many projects going on and they really suck when people come over and leave tools out. i at least try to leave them on my rolling cart if I'm coming back.

Wow...found this great tip for hard lines...could have used this last week for the hard line on my clutch master...I bet if I worked it around a bit it would have gone in easier...

Looks Great. I've been neglecting my engine compartment but need to get on it. (06 Tacoma) I looked at a 2023 Tacoma this past weekend. The engine hood weighs a ton compared to mine!

Last week while my sister was driving it to work it rolled 200,000. Woohoo!

    IMG_0017.jpg

I've only owned it since about 192,000. At 193,000 it got an oil change, spark plugs, and engine & cabin air filters. Around 196,500 it got another oil change.
With the exception of its frame replacement job in August of 2022, that was about all the information I had on its maintenance history.

At this fine 200k milestone, I decided it was time for a fluid refresh just to have a point of reference moving forward. Since I am still out of the country I had my dad take it in for the service.
So yesterday the old girl got an oil change, front & rear differential service, transfer case service, brake fluid exchange, and a coolant exchange.

Apparently the service tech wasn't able to do the power steering fluid exchange for whatever reason, and he also recommended AGAINST an ATF drain and fill. This was the second tech at as many places to recommend against the ATF service, having no history of any work being done for the life of the truck.

After scouring the forms for a long time, it seems pretty evenly split for and against, with most people "for" it recommending a drain and fill rather than a flush. I think for now I'll let it ride and hope for the best...

great bumper choice. I'd get your winch in ASAP because remembering how to pull it all off or install with a friend into the truck is a pain!
