About to do this potentially as well, but in an oil rubbed bronze, I’ll go plastidip if things don’t go well.

I like this and the SR grill over the heritage grill personally.

I found a couple of decals that I think might apply to lose the chrome T

Thanks @JakeJob for the little push to do this. Not a huge difference but does tie everything into the truck better! Definitely goes better with the black taillights so all the grey color is gone now

 

Where would one find that Katakana emblem? Or is it the whole grill?

 

The emblem is on Etsy, as a heat wrap, tss compliant supposedly.

It’s got a topo map background, there a few other variations on Etsy

Looks great! I like the painted grill! Almost makes me want to put my oem grill back on. Our trucks are almost twins lol

 

I just popped out the roundel, took that to local wrap shop, and they added my design for ~$40. Almost immediately after installation, some @!#$@#$ helped me test that TSS still worked.


YMMV on the emblem choices . . .

G'day my Lunar Rock brotato's. Anyone find it interesting that LR is discontinued on Tacoma for MY24 but Tundra it is being held over? Is that common in Toyota world?

 

One of my friends favorite teams in the 60's and 70's. They won a lot of games but boy did that poor ba*tard suffer come the SB's. Living in northern OH Browns country could be one explanation but we never could figure out the connection.

 

Looking for pics of people who changed their bedside decals to aftermarket ones, and what color combos you went with?

 

Not really but the colors between the two have deviated since the Tundra update. It’s also not common to carry over the unique pro color for the year but they still did with solar octane on the Tundra. Tacoma and Tundra look to have different options moving into 2024. Glad to have the last of LR tacos.
