People are gonna fuck with you for no reason, unfair things happen all the time - best to learn this early..

I was in a major car crash, caused by a woman with no insurance or assets - I wound up with a fused spine and it literally wrecked my life. I am still digging myself out of that hole. That b*tch just walked away with basically no consequence.
Meanwhile, I get 100K in medical bills and on and on and on.

It definitely isn't an uplifting lesson, but a fundamental one that I feel has gone by the wayside

 

I don't disagree. It is a worthwhile lesson.

Always is the key word in my statement. I'm suggesting there's balance needed. Some people get consumed with the negative side of reality and could benefit from reminders of the positive side.

Sounds like we agree, I don't always say things well.
