Been dealing with terrible bump steer so I decided to take off the 2 inch lift spacers and still had bad bump steer. So also took off my sway bar relocation kit and now bump steer is pretty much gone. Only problem now is the sway bar is touching/scraping the coil, on both sides while driving normally.

I’m pretty much at stock height. Swapped in a 3rd gen suspension to my second gen. Could my endlinks be to short? Is that a thing. Since the is not completely horizontal? Or could it do to caster/camber? Getting an alignment soon anyways.

running 265-70-r17 and actually do want to keep my sway bar

Could my sway bar be upside down?

Does seem like a weird thing to happen, but it kinda looks like it.

How does the other side look? Maybe you can loosen where it mounts to the frame and push the sway bar about 1/2” to the driver side.

If I remember right, here is about a 1” difference in height between the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen. You’ll need either a spacer for the sway bar or longer links. Here’s what my links look like. I have upgraded suspension and spacers for the sway bar.

    what are those?
you could always do a sway bar delete too, make the problem go away real fast.

I’m thinking my links are too small just by looking at your photo. I had a spacer on the sway but took it off because I was getting some crazy bump steer after lowering it, figured the spacers were causing some type of preload on the links.

end links are the Duralast Gold Sway Bar Link GSL80946 and the GSL80948.

I looked around and it looks like my sway bar is right side up.

I swapped out the inner/outer tie rods last weekend then dropped it and removed the spacers on the sway bar last night. So this is new

Those swaybar end links are too short.

There are no differences in 2nd to 3rd gen swaybar end links or swaybars (outside of TRD OR having a slightly smaller diameter swaybar).

I can tell you after just doing some 3rd gen coils on my 2nd gen that if you are using stock length end links there will be no issues.

I took my sway bar out once and hated it. I drove to town and back and put it back on.
    Opinions vary.
