This was my purchase today (as well as some Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano Liqueur for margaritas). Came across the 1792 BiB - I’ve really enjoyed the Full Proof, and for $35 I thought it would be worth the try. The WT Rye, always good and I really enjoy it for my Old Fashioneds.

And…of course…the most expensive Blanton’s topper I’ve ever purchased…because that’s all I left of a bottle of Blanton’s after I dropped it as I went to set the bag down on the counter…. talk about a bottle kill….

Don't cry over spilt milk but it's OK to cry over spilt Blanton's.

Sometimes you need a minivan for the kiddo. Toyota is reserved for the really hard wheeling/house stuff.

That's my problem too. Couple of friends come over and next thing I know the bottle is empty, that's why whenever VA abc stores have a drop I make sure I get another bottle.

    Willett Pot Still?

Never had it, but general sentiment is that it's *bad*.

    Might explain the clearance price.

My guess is that's the price per shot? Looks like he's at a bar.

But confirming, it's bad. Pickle juice and vinegar mixed in with a little whiskey.

Hahaha I felt weird sharing a photo in here, but yeah it's a minivan, it just happens to have 35's, F/R Lockers, two turbos and Fox suspension.

Camped in it for the first time this weekend actually for a dual sport.

    Whiskey related:

I got both the EW BIB and the JD and told my buddy who says he likes Whiskey to blind taste test both. I told him the EW BIB is a great tasting one for the price and he immediately snubbed me a couple months back. I gave him two cups of EW and he told me how the one tasted significantly better than the other.

Of course I gave him the JD SBBP and he still said the EW was better.
