BTW, you might appreciate this depending how old you are. I went to VCF West on friday and picked up this guy. Retro games will be played on it galore :) PXL_20230805_033717756.jpg

    Don't let @Ozark_RegCab hear you

Every few months he'll bring up 17-18mpg's being horrible and thinking his truck is about to implode any minute due to its unreliability

Oooh nice, another vintage hardware guy. I have tons of 486/Pentium era computers at home, I think I actually have the vertical cousin of this Gateway

Haha. I’m sitting at 13.5 (only city) but I’m gonna replace the a/f sensor before the cat and see what that does

Hah! Cars and computers are my hobbies! I'm 40, btw. Grew up on the old Sierra and Lucas games. Made this tshirt for the VCF expo. It was a hit. You probably do have the vertical cousin as it did come that way as well! Can we get a computer nerd thread going on here? :)

We don't have any cool shops like that out where I'm at; sure tons of vintage places but retro PC's go for an arm and a leg out here

I really need to look for an old couple to see if they've got an old forgotten PC sitting on an escritoire or something

I got this thing for 65 bucks. Dead HD but I have an SD conversion kit arriving today for it. Also a Pro Audio Spectrum in the mail for it. Going to see if I can throw a DX4 100mhz in it and run windows 98. If not, windows 3.11.

    Ugh

I've moved a few too many times; all I've got are a pile of parts paired with an E8400 in a box, as well as a practically new in box 9800 GT gpu

I found my Diablo II discs with key in an old box of NES games I want to build a PC for as well

E8400? C2D!!!! I had that chip at some point! First one that got me a 5ghz overclock. It came stock at 4.0, right? Awesome with the 9800GT. Perfect Windows XP box.

Triple locked unmodified (but fair mileage of 250k miles) seem to fall at $15k and below

Seen a few good ones, rust-free getting down to the $12k mark

Yes sir that is correct! Though I think stock is slightly lower?

I was the only guy in the barracks running SLI when I had my E8400 too

Full sized (read heavy) steel series thermaltake case and all

But you guys are going way retro; I'd love to stuff this stuff in an older case

I'll let you know, they come up for sale locally here really often, that one is about 10k more than I got my triple locked 80 for but that might still be a good number given how much the market has changed lately.

I'm also interested in this guy but the seller refuses to send accident pics and undercarriage pics. Makes me hesitant. I would love a 95-97 for the airbags though.
