Also got a bad squeak on my RXT now. Running stage 2 and just went from Stage 1 to 2 under a year ago and greased in between every leaf before putting back together. What kind of spray can I use to determine exactly what is squeaking. Believe it is the bushings as well. Already made sure the torque is correct. Any help would be appreciated.

I flex mine out 2x a year and spray silicone spray between each leaf and that seems to keep most of the squeaks caused by the leafs at bay.

Icons option 2 with riderite airbags are so far an amazing setup for me. Hauled about 3000lbs of fence post in a 6x12 uhaul trailer and another 150lbs in the bed, icons only drooped about 1-1.5". Gave the bags about 40lbs of air and it came back to level and drove great for the hour drive to the property.

Then throughout the day I carried about 600lbs of more fence posts a couple more times in the bed alone and with a little air in the bags and it handled it like a beast.

I unloaded the ones in the bed of the truck before making the hour trip down to the property. No easy way to strap them down and not hit the tailgate on the tongue of the trailer so multiple trips were used.

If this helps anyone with what stage to use, this was what I ended up with on my new '23 OR. Any off road are light trails/forest roads. No lift or anything.

I have the RSI Adventure cap. Approx 200 lbs. I was riding about level with stock leafs.
    .
Stayed with stage 1 and used my OEM Bilsteins/bump stops. I got about 2" of height. I'm sure this will settle to about 1.5 or so. Then I tossed about 200 lbs in the back for what I'd assume camping gear/etc might be. Didn't lose much at all. Has a little rake, but nothing crazy.PXL_20230806_201118709.jpg

Finally pulled the trigger on the RXT's, super bumps, and +4" brake lines. The bottom out on my stock leaves with ride rites has always been brutal. Now that I have my setup worked out, time for a better solution. A little unsure on what option to go with, but leaning towards 2. I'm only looking for ~3/4" (.75") of lift, but have 600+ lbs in the bed at full load out (14gal water, 10gal gas, bedslide and contents, diamondback HD, CVT Mt. Rainier ext) and back home only about 260lbs (diamondback and bedslide only). Any input on the spring option is appreciated.

    Edit for clarity (.75")

You have the same shocks as me, what has your experience been with your weight and spring option?

Are you on option 3? What's your bed weight and lift?

    Yes I’m on option 3.
Yes I’m on option 3. I have a GFC platform topper (camper shell) with 270 awning and recovery gear on truck. So probably 200lbs constant weight. As she sits like that I have about 2” of rake. When loaded for camping I still retain about 3/4” to 1”of rake. Hope this helps

What #'s are you referring to as "correct" torque?

Torque is determined by bolt size and thread pitch. If using different bolts than stock, factory specs may be null and void.
    9/16" u-bolts with a 7/8" nut suggest 110#'s.
I went to 100#'s with mine.

Update on the squeaking. Jacked it up today and power washed the leafs and sprayed Boeshield on them. Quiet now. We will see how long it lasts though.

Nice! I had squeaking coming from mine after only a month old. Sprayed them in Fluid Film and they’re completely quite now. I had the same squeak coming from my previous All Pro leafs too. It’s a common problem

Just FYI, ICON RXT leaf packs are at a pretty good discount (over 25% off) on Amazon right now (sold by Icon themselves). $254 per pack vs their website price of $334.

Just pulled the trigger on a pair!

I just rebuilt a pair of slightly used RXT's.
    • Disassembled the leaves and cleaned off a bunch of white lithium grease and fine sand from between the leaves.
    • Polished the steel shims to remove surface rust.
    • Spatula'd Park Tool grease on the "waffle" shims.
    • Removed the Option 3 stock leaf to go back to Option 2.
I would not recommend greasing between the leaves, based on what I saw. The main place to grease is the waffle shims. OME uses the same ones, and recommends unweight the suspension, spread the leaves with a fat screwdriver/prybar, and spatula some moly grease onto the waffle shims. The shims also have a small diameter hole that you can inject grease with a grease gun pinpoint adapter for a quick tune.

I'll get them installed soon for my daily driver: 265/75/16's, ARE HD topper, Mobtown rear steel bumper, SOS Sliders, so I think Option 2 will be fine. Not going for much lift in the front, maybe 1.7" on the existing 6100's with a Southern Slimline and Warn EVO 8s, adding ECGS bushing to keep it within reasonable angles and tolerances. Hopefully it all works out and continues rolling strong... I'll add back the leaf for Option 3 if it sags too much with a full camping load. I'm also picking up some used Eibach 700lb springs for the front, to use if needed with later mods.
