I want a modern day version of that econoline

 

The good ones end with an increase in land mass

 

Back to one vehicle.
Gonna start putting the 1st gen on a diet since I'm commuting in it. Rack and bumper first. Thinking of swapping the shell for a soft topper or just run a tonneau again.

 

I've been back to commuting in the Tacoma the last couple weeks. Its not terrible when you get the weight off. Actually gets better gas mileage than my daily

 

Yeah I can’t remember what’s it like but I’m looking forward to it haha.

 

Welp, gas tanks full of rust. That explains the pump failure again.



Going to get it changed for another 1k new tank, but no labor charge. I'm buying once to cry once, rest of repairs I won't be as disabled for. Not to mention nearing end of summer. pics soon

p.o did let slip that the truck sat for some time during the test drive. I never asked how long. If any of the microscopic rust got past the pump and filter, itd be fine getting eaten up by the 5vz, correct?

 

If it got past the filter then it's less than 10 micron so yeah it won't hurt a thing. I'd consider changing your filter again in maybe 2 months though since it's probably right full of shit again.

I legit thought about changing the filter couple months later, glad I was right on that one. The filter looks like plug and play too?
