I think my leaf springs are squeaking too. But only when I first start out. I guess they "warm up" after a bit and don't squeak anymore? :notsure:

Anyway, how did you stop the squeaks?

Any idea what this thin metal piece is for? One exactly like that fell out of our 2013 RX350 pass side mirror. IMG_0353.jpg

Found it covered in ash from my asshole neighbor's burn pile. :annoyed:

    20230808_123853.jpg

So it got an impromptu bath.

    20230808_132739.jpg

Added Ventshades and covered up those unsightly faux-chrome bumper caps too.

I read about similar cons on the facebook tacoma group pages . I opted for the rav4 BSM mirrors instead . I had them on the 4runner and they fit great with no vibrations

Will do.... Will need to go on a long(ish) ride instead of the 20Mins to work thing..... Hopefully my back will feel less fatigue... not that its all that terrible but I figure it's worth a shot to try them.

I'm 2 days in from 5100 install on stock springs all around, with front on 3rd circlip at +1.1”. I'm picking up a slight vibration when driving, everything I read indicated that vibration is normal at +2" or > of lift but didn't see anything on 1" lift. Is slight vibration normal for low lift?

I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
That's the metal tab that I think helps prevent mirror vibration. It slides as the mirror rotates, within a groove inside the mirror housing.

It's only on the driver-side mirror for some reason, and is completely absent from the spotter mirror. Without it, you might notice some mirror vibration at highway speeds.
