I also think Toyota will release the 24 Tacoma around the new Blue Beetle movie which comes out August 18. I think the 3rd gen was around the same time frame on its release :notsure:

Considering they revealed the Tacoma in May and still haven't released pricing yet either.

Thought the big reveal was scheduled for Friday May 19th in Hawaii, but they ended up spilling the pics the night before?

Edit: Page 365 of this Thread confirms it was May 18th when pics were released.

I'm seeing the 2024 Tundra on the Toyota USA website, but when I click on "Build" it leads me to an "Our Apologies" message just like one of the users above.

@RicerRabbit -- I see it now, I think if I clicked on the Tundra sooner I would have seen it. The thumbnail still says 2023, but when I clicked it 2024 pops up. Again I love Toyota, but the way they upload new stuff is confusing. I don't want to sound like an ass, but the GM, Ford, and FCA websites, in my opinion, are more organized.

Looks like the Limited with TRD Off-Road no longer has the satin chrome hogan grill. Body color with black inner rear bumper. Black window belt-line trim & black mirror caps.

    EDIT:
    HOLY PRICE INCREASE BATMAN!

    2024 Tundra
    SR - $39,965

    SR5 - $ 47,550

    LIMITED - $53,905

    PLATINIUM - $61,775

    1794 - $62,460

    TRD PRO - $72,130

    CAPSTONE - $78,845

Looks like the SR5 and Limited have the biggest price increase of over 6%. The Capstone and Pro are under 2% and the SR is about 2.5%.

@JB_TN -- Indeed, I'm in shock. the higher trims are not too terrible, but $48K for a bare bones SR5 DC 2WD?
The 2023 SR5 DC 6.5 4WD with TRD Off-Road an some dealer BS addons I saw in June was $52K. That same truck for 2024 could very well be 55K before taxes. I cannot fathom, but we're gonna see an fully loaded SR5 CrewMax probably for 62K-63K. I'm not doing exact math obviously.

Yeah boys and girls, the 4th Gen Taco is gonna give us some sticker shock (I hope it isn't too bad, but I ain't feelin' lucky right now). Sweet Jesus.

Overall, this looks great! This is probably the spec I would take for a 4th gen Tacoma.

I like how the exterior looks as long as that ugly air dam is removed. My only minor gripe is the screen on the interior looks humongous and I prefer integrated head-units over floating displays.

    Toyota is a little confusing.

    What justifies this price increase?

Makes no sense from a marketshare standpoint. If Toyota wants more share of sales they can do what Dodge did for years and just whore their product out. Although I've seen people say that the Tundra isn't marketed for stealing sales (which makes no sense, why make a truck that you don't want everyone to want).

So if you have to use high test fuel to get better mpg. Well I feel like that just works out to the same cost. I just looked it up in said a 21 Tundra Pro was $54,995 and a 22 Tundra Pro is $69,995 This is in USD. A current Tacoma Pro in Canada is $64,995 I could see it going up to $72,995 we pay 15% tax that is 85k for a Tacoma holy shit.

People fussing about 2024 Tundra pricing need to go compare to the competition. A stx F150 Supercrew 2.7 ecoboost 4wd is over 50k now too

If the Tacoma has the digital rearview mirror like our Rav4 and like the new Tundra, I can see the justification, for me, to be okay(ish) with the price increase.

I think all cars should have their rearview mirror have a digital option. It's super convenient

They say that because the production capacity of the Tundra is not at a level that they can take the market from any of the big 3 1/2 tons.

Same for the Tacoma competitors, no one can touch a 2 plant truck when they all share a plant with another vehicle (not sure on Frontier though).
