If you're running the factory 2.57 chain case with a 4.70 in front, your ratio will be 182:1

If you're running the 2.57 NWF with the stock 2.57 chain, you're ratio will be 100:1

If you're running the rf1a 2.28 with a 4.70 rear, your ratio will be 162:1

If you're running the rf1a 2.28 with a doubler 2.28, your ratio will be 79:1

Yes the lower was a BS test to see if it would help stop the oil coming out of the shifter. Fill plug will go back in. But the upper is now the vent. Lower was put in while in the truck. Now that I pulled the case to attempt to stop the leak out of the shifter I used that top hole as the vent.

Take 2 at sealing up my hacked up floor and trans tunnel. Much better this go around.

Still would like to find a proper shifter boot that works with the NWF setup.

Speaking of which, I have a triple stick shift boot that didn't work. I would be happy to send it to someone who can use it.

Tagging @Kerleyfries since he just got his NWF triple stick setup installed and might have the boot worked out.

Yeah, I think that's the one I bought. Unfortunately no way to make it work on my 1st gen.

Ok, I didn't realize you had a first gen. It worked pretty well on my second gen. I had to do a little modifying but not much.

I need a new boot after I cut mine up. I need to do the same as you. Can't have my windows down on the highway without hot air funneling into the cab through some small holes.

They do not vent with the chain case on my 3rd gen. The chain case is completely sealed. Trail gear tried to tell me it vented through that case as well which is absolutely not the case. I believe adding this vent and the oil slinger as others told me to add is the reason my case is no longer leaking out of the shifter area.

Lovely just lovely! Seems like my dirt bike will be going on sale soon to properly accomplish this set up.

Body lift? Seems like everything sits super low.

correct. 1” body lift. No way it would have fit otherwise, without some serious BFH action.

the 2nd to last pic you can see the trans is resting on the crossmember. The mount hadn’t been installed at that point.
