This place is ok for the most part, but some people don't get it though. This thread is an example.

Not sure where you’re going but glad you like it?
I never thought I’d get this color but it just stood out and I like it a lot also!
Once shit goes bad I may rethink this?

Nice truck. Yes, I like mine. Like I said, I love it. If you love something with deficiencies then it still must be pretty damn good, right? A lot of people missed intended sarcasm, and just misunderstood the post in general. I don't like the molding in my window that's loose, and flutters up and down making terrible wind noise, but I still love the tacomer. I want to take it to toyota but I hate anyone fucking with my truck. They will just glue it in place so I guess that's what I doing

    I love mine.

I know it will NOT be a forever truck, but a long time truck. 7 1/2 years in. I can for sure see another 10+ years and still won’t even hit 80k mikes on it.

I’m 37 lol. I drive my tundra more often so I could see it maybe being less than 80k. Only 54k on the taco now. Only 30k on the tundra.

Maybe get a nice wrap done on it so you don’t have to deal with the red and you protect your paint. Just a thought! It’s spendy unless you wrap it yourself.

My words don't come across well apparently. I would have never seen me driving a red vehicle, always had silver toyota trucks purchased new. But I had to go with red due to availability and pricing. When I saw it in person, I really liked it.

Yeah I have an 85 4Runner in red. I normally am not a red fan but I love it on the runner. I do like the new Tacomas in though.

Sometimes with the manuals you have to make color concessions due to the limited numbers produced.

i think the OP was being sarcastic for the most part.

i am starting to love my 2023 as well. my 2006 truck left VERY BIG shoes to fill. i still have the 06, and i really love that old truck as well.

I love my 2022 Off Road because:
    1. It.s black (that's my favorite vehicle color)
    2. The seat is perfect for a 6'1" person of my proportion legs/torso
    3. 32s went right on perfect with no rub
    4. when I nail it - it takes off
    5. after I put on the sliders, steel skid plate and heavy tires I expected 15mpg - I'm getting almost 19mpg WOW!
    6. No significant scratches, dents or dings but I'm working on it when I hit the trail (I left it out in a hail storm but nothing)
    7. it's auto which I really like for "normal" driving but it has the S thing (I used it a few times on the trail but I really don't use it)
    8. it does have the adaptive cruise control and blind spot sensors I like on the Interstate
    9. plenty of cup holders
    10. I got a good deal on it

The only thing I didn't like is that it came with P-steps but I got them off.
Think of P-steps vs rock sliders this way:
    P-steps = your GF's lace silk thong
rock sliders = your compression shorts for working out

    Which ones do you wear?

Thats fair but when I bought my pro they had three color options without an even spread geographically on the distribution. The manual transmission was more important that the color option for me. Flew two states up to get it but not having ADM made it worth it.

You realize the end of the run on 23 is near, right? I passed on 2 others that I had deposits on. Each time it's like a 2 month process. I didn't want to wait another 2 months and risk not finding one, or only being able to find loaded ones which I don't want, or be stuck with markups since no more left. Sometimes you have to settle, which I never have on a new purchase, but my hand was forced. Right now, within a 500 mile range of me, 3 trucks available, two have a deposit on them. It's not changing if one is looking for the manual transmission
