It has been hands down the best vehicle we have ever owned! I can even roll out my memory foam and sleep in the back of it push come to shove. It’s long enough to get comfortable and I’m 6’1”. The equivalent to it is now the TRD off road it’s the original trail version with the locker and crawl control. And I have better judgment or self control than my 20 something self so I go where I need to go but I’ve never had it stuck not even close.

Truth…When I worked for them in the early 80’s I was a part time package handler making $20 an hour with full benefits and a retirement package after 20 years of service. When I moved to the sort aisle I made a per package bonus for anything over 65 packages every 5 minutes. Christmas time I made bank.

Yup. Free rv dump, water station and trash too. And you'll come out of the 6 month season with gray hair, frazzled nerves, a twitch in your eye and a dislike for "eh?", "...don'tcha knoow" and "...we'll, look here. I've been camping in that spot for ___ years and it's my spot and I want it back".

We had no cell phone service for 3 months but I had already bought radios long ago. "Marriage Savers" are necessary. All joking aside, we did well in a 21' travel trailer.

I’ve considered this myself and the wife would be excellent in the complaint department. We have a couple that constantly complained about something until they got her one day they have been model tenants ever since.

I haven't even touched on the complaints yet. Loud generators, generators during quiet hours, won't pick up their dog poop, dogs off leash, dogs barking, dog loose and attacked other dog, dog/cats missing, loud atv/utv, loose trash, harassment, assault, camping too close, camp is too big, the hot water is too hot, people not using slinky hose at rv dump, people dumpster diving, roads are too dusty, speeding....it goes on and on. These are just a few of what we hear on a pretty normal basis. Some are enforceable, some aren't. Almost all are addressed. All have to go on an actual complaint (SIR) or it didn't happen. Some end up in warnings, tickets, evictions, suck it up, get along, get apart, go away, grow the f'k up...

yeah, its been in the news. also had a story about a mountain lion being killed in town after they couldn't haze it and make it leave. a home owner killed a bear that broke into his house. a griz was killed last week in Big Sky after it had gotten into dumpsters. oh, and the bear that killed the lady a couple weeks ago is till on the loose.

    sorry @Marty65

Change "me" to "'em" and some of those could be my determinations at times. I'd prefer the Thunderdome wheel sometimes...

We're on a rest right now and headed to Cuivre River State Park in Missouri for September and October. Should be a little more busy than the 20 sites and boat ramp/picnic area we had previously.

We have one area that's mostly parking lot camping. It'll fit 50-60 rigs. The rest is open (dispersed)... I'd say somewhere around 1500-2000 at one location about an hour and a half north and this area probably 750-1000. Kinda hard to tell sometimes until you really get out and look. I'm not a Ranger but do Ranger on occasion. Southwest Arizona gets hammered with snowbirds because of the warmer winters. Enjoy the smaller campgrounds. Most campers are great. But like anything else, it's a small % that takes up the biggest % of our time.
