$3,300 of DEALER INSTALLED?! On top of Port Installed add-ons. That is where the ADM comes in. What could the dealer possibly install that would add $3,300 value to a vehicle? $50 worth of tint and some bullshit acid etch that cost them $8. They are making $3,250 off their add-ons and I'd be willing to bet either 1) their "in stock" means trucks that have been sitting there for a while (2WD SR) and if you put a deposit on a truck not on their lot, you don't get the discount or 2) they conveniently forgot to add "up to $5,000" in the email.

Unfortunately we are in the South East Toyota mafia. Where you get piles of port installed stuff, whether you are interested or not.

If you can travel, you may want to shop elsewhere. Except Gulf States, which can be just as bad.

It seems most Tacoma's come with some sort of port add ons these days but keep an eye on dealer add ons as they tend to up the price like crazy.

Northeast is the same way. I searched for months for my 3rd gen. Every truck had 2k-4k worth of port add ons.

SET and Gulf are not Toyota owned. They are private distributorships.

While what you saw may have been port added, I'd bet tomorrows Diet Coke they were dealer ordered. (different than dealer installed)

Ahh, I just looked at my window sticker. You are correct! Only factory add on was the tech package.

With that extra $5k, you can reduce the price of the extended warranty to just another $1.5k :spending:

Ask me how I know

I'm in SoCal. The local dealer that I walk from/to for service was asking $6k over MSRP. And didn't have Lunar AC 4x4 Sport. I searched around and found not one, but TWO of them about 45 minutes away. Had email discussions, they said they would certainly sell me one for MSRP. Drove over and began signing papers, then the hardball started. Wife decided (since she was buying this vehicle all in her name this time) to add the extended warranty.

That was February of this year.
I couldn't be happier with Luna Taco :taco:
