At least you didn’t move it inside the truck and then go looking for that new clunk.

I recently added that storage compartment to my '21 and I was about to put my recovery hitch in it until I realized it would probably do what you just described lol.

They have done sets in 0 offset, but likely will have to source them on the used market.

    Well,
about 20 mins to replace the Subaru kickers with the DS-18s.
To me it depends on what song Im playing. Outfield definitely sounded crisper than Billy Ocean. And, Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top just rocked the whole truck when I raised the sound. But I have Kickers front and back already.

Personally, if I already had kicker tweets in, I would just leave them. If I was upgrading from stock, I would choose the DS-18s. My humble opinion of course.

hahaha! I’m so glad I’m not the only one. I had coiled up an air hose and hung it from a xl twisty tie from the cap clamp. Same thing bang clang I’m looking everywhere and then realized chuck was banging the side of the bed. SMH.

    Working on it
Just installed a custom 3D printed power socket bracket for the passenger bedside cubby.

I had previously did a DIY bracket on the install but wanted something more pro. Got in touch with Hot End Designs (@hotenddesigns on Instagram) and we came up with this design, fits super tight and looks OEM, door closes and protects the panel when I’m riding around with gear or whatever, OG install thread is over here
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/passenger-bed-cubby-power-panel.807408/

great guys and the bracket just rocks hit ‘‘em up if you’re looking to do something similar. They got the bracket design saved and will print and ship.

    Drove it....

    Past 50k....

Only 450k more miles to go..... Hopefully I don't have to make many repairs during that time.

You actually want even more negative for 35s. 3.5"-4" backspacing is optimal.

I honestly could probably get away with the Volks as they are since I have a cab mount relocation and fend-x liners but it'd be an expensive test. ;)

Ah, wasn't sure which way you wanted to go. But if you want more backspace you can always run spacers, quick fix for any wheel that needs to poke more.

Excellent feedback. My experience was about the same, the DS18s edged out the Kickers and I was still within the 30 day Amazon return window so I sent the Kickers back. I have to say, having replaced all six speakers now, the DS18 tweeters were the most impressive. Maybe it's because they're in my face and I can hear the BIG difference from the OE tweeters. I guess if someone were thinking about a really inexpensive upgrade to the OE stereo's sound, replacing the tweeters would be that one thing.

NICE!! I'll be back from deployment by the end of the year and also have MANY plans for mine. Already have the KO2's waiting in the garage. Once I get an actual re-deployment date I will order everything else. Can't wait!
