That's pretty convenient. It's nice when you can get hookups like that.

I'm going to pull the anti crackhead shield off this weekend and trace it out on a piece of cardboard so we have a good reference to work off of.

Im going to costco today to buy supplies, if you guys want to chip in with 100 percent going to buy shit for the victims lmk, gonna drop off later today. Im so fucking thankful the fire didn't hit my spot.

what the news isn't saying is lahaina burning down isn't the only thing

but we also lost houses and shit on this side. 1100 acres burned in my region as well.

Technically there's like 5-7 different places like that within 10 miles from me, even more if you travel a few minutes more.

Problem is finding who's the cheapest but buying stuff that cheap it's really a wash spending only dollars more to buy it closer.

Ya most of those places are like 40-50mins west of me in Phoenix proper, where all the industrial yards are. The place I've gone to for steel in the past is basically on my way to/from the office but I have a feeling they're overcharging me by quite a bit

I talk to a lot of guys on the regular in the welding section and we often bring up pricing on metal as well as welding gas.

Blows my mind what some people pay in welding gas.

It is absolutely the cheapest (compared to them, east coast, Nevada, etc) buying where I'm at; but it's really industrial out here in the Fresno County anyway.

If you're a welder, guaranteed job opportunity.

I had to drill out the center bolt for the rack yesterday which is got me completely unmotivated to cut the cam bolts. Probably do it tomorrow. Really like to get the cabin frame out of my yard this weekend.

    :frusty:

I'm thinking this truck came from back east. Maybe spent half of its life there half of its life here.

@Empty_Lord My brother finally got a quote from one dealer.

That's a wild quote for the engine. Dumping the car at Carmax is questionable and what would he buy in this terrible used car market? People are very much charging a Toyota tax as well and I'd hate for him to end up in a POS like a Chevy sonic. I've thought about dropping a long block in and then knocking out the suspension and brakes the following weekend. That would be a lot quicker for me than rebuilding his current engine.
