That's pretty common for most vehicles. I replaced the driver side in my F-250 around 125-150K. Upholstery shops can replace it or you can buy it online and replace it yourself.

Normal wear cycle. 2020 with 100K miles that I recently traded in had the same driver’s seat sag.

My wife told me to lay off the breakfast tacos in order for the 2023 seat to last longer.

This ^ the heavier you are the quicker the seat wears, especially if you SLIDE in and out of the seat.

You have compressed that seat 1900 hours. You have slid your ass over it 3500 times.

I tell you what. What's killing that seat is the ass. Perhaps, do something about that.

My numbers above are conservative. Probably double that is more accurate. Wear items....wear, like bulbs, belts and brakes.

i had an 89 Chevy lumina that went through 4 family members, the seat wasn’t on the list of “wear” able items, the gas lines on the other hand got me kicked out of a town

You get "down" into a car. You get "up" into a truck. I've had trucks for 40 years. Every driver's seat on every make with vinyl, leather and fabric will bear out. Leather lasts longer but look worst.

After thinking about that, it makes sense. All our work trucks sound just like that.

If you have to slide in/up and out/down, it’s going to wear faster. Of course short people, people lacking strength, step boards, lifts, etc is going to make it worse.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I had a 1994 Mazda B4000 that I bought used, that had a driver seat that was fully collapsed.

No big deal as I paid an upholstery shop $250 and they rebuilt it better than new. I also requested stiffer side bolsters so it would last longer.

BTW, that was a really reliable 4x4. Never a breakdown, just maintenance to keep it running. I used it heavily off road and sold it when it was 13 years old. It ran like new. I last saw the truck on a trip to Vancouver in 2018, a guy in the Kits area bought it and he was still driving it. Not bad for what was a 24 year old truck at that time.

I had a RAV4 seat that looked like this after 185K miles. I put a cheap pair of seat covers on when I traded it in for my Tacoma.

Do you slide your ass on the bolster getting in and out?
