Yeah, that picture set changed my response from a hard no to a harder no. Interior isn't bad, but it isnt clean either. And that engine bay... woof. Just breathing on it wrong is going to involve a broken bolt extraction.

If you can buy it for 5k and can DIY another 5k in parts. Are you feeling lucky?

Frame may have been swapped BUT the diff needs love (anew cap or a new housing, eithers not cheap unless you DIY a new cap. Upper Control arms are crusty…

It’s far from a hard no, but I wouldn’t pay top dollar for it.

I would be 5k max assuming I’d had to drop at least 3 into it immediately

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
As A project for less then $1000 if the engine and drive train works good.

Lots of labor intensive work there and perhaps thousands in new parts.

    Good Luck.

10K in your pocket? Keep shopping. Project cars, trucks AND boats are low on my list. I like turn key and go.

If you have a 10k budget, there are plenty of pristine options out there. Just keep looking, most of the time it's cheaper to buy than to build, especially so if you want to end up at pristine condition.

If only the OP would answer the basic question all responders have asked in both threads:

Is this for a daily driver or a project truck?

    Less loves, more facts OP.

I hated to do it, but I traded my ‘04 2WD SR5 Xtracab 65K miles in on my ‘20 TRDOR. Except for the delaminated/faded paint my ‘04 could have passed for a 5yo vehicle. Zero rust. It was at the start of the pandemic and I was really freaked out at the thought of a bunch of tire kickers with Covid as a private seller. I’m in NC.
Note to OP: you can get a really nice vehicle for that money if you’re willing to travel.

I am looking everywhere and can't find a good one without bunch of owners or miles on it.... I do Craiglist and the rest of big websites!
Is there a specific toyota tacoma website besides this one?
