Hi guys, looking for any suggestions on how to stop a rattle I have on my 08. It seems to be dead center of the dash directly above the stereo. Whenever I hit small bumps on the road it sounds like plastic or hard rubber rattling around. Is the dash easy to remove? Am I better off removing the stereo and try getting in from there? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I have that rattle, too, right by the stereo. Most days I can't hear it but other days, especially on rough roads, it's really quite loud. Sounds like a screw has worked itself loose.

I managed to take the stereo out to take a look, and there isn't really too much in there to rattle around. There was a bunch of wires already taped up, and one wire from the stereo that was wrapped in foam. If I smack the dash with my hand I can duplicate the sound. I stuffed some foam between the dash and other plastic parts under it, so we'll see if that helps.

you sure its the dash???? could just be the air intake tube where it goes into the pass. fender. Look under the hood and you'll see what I'm talking about. Shove something in between where the tube goes into the fender and see if the rattle stops, I folded up a piece of cardboard to take away any play where the tube meets the hole in the fender...I think theres a TSB for this as well to replace the crappy foam piece thats not doing its job.

I about tore out my dash until I did this, now no more rattle.

I think I found where the noise was coming from. I stuffed a strip of foam between the windshield and the dash and the rattle disappeared - for now!
