I don't have a TACOMA anymore. I have to rely on other people to take me from point A to point B. It's the wife's TACO now.

Washed it, and as i went around and dried it, saw how many stone chips and scrathes were on it .. im almost sick over it, to the point that im taking somewhere to have it detailed(Washed, Waxed, Buffed if needed, vaccuumed, shampooed) Im just so let down about it that i cant even bring myself to do it.

Installed an OEM Roof rack last weekend, a reciever hitch and the associated wiring this weekend. Then took the SeaDoos out for the first time this year to celebrate !

Next weekend I plan to start on a front "receiver" and an accompanying insertable post that I can use to secure a bow line to that will keep me from having the line rub on the top of the grill. Just a bit of added safety for hauling the old kayak... Anyone else done this ? Any posts with pictures available ?

Both pics are before. My TB butterfly is a gold or copper color and really dirty in the photos I posted. I was hoping the pic would show all the black on the walls of the TB, but it didn't. I sprayed the gunk with carb cleaner and most of it came off. Used scotch brite on the gunk that was stubborn. It turned out quite clean with very minor staining where the bf sits when closed.

Well, i have 3 of them still. i ripped one off backing onto a high sidewalk.
I was planning on taking them off yesterday but after i saw the amount of chips on my left rear lower bedside and bumper, im almost decided not to.
I live in NEPA and they dont really use salt around here anymore, the highways use the salt brine and all other roads are cinders. Which im most certain are the culprit. I barely have any chips on the front of my truck, but around the rear wheels(probably from spinning) are really bad. and it looks like someone wrapped in chains walked along both sides of my truck!

2010 4 Dr Taco - Drive & off road in Colorado every year. When you load with luggage, etc. headlights blind oncoming traffic. Installed these "Air Lift" model 59561 helper bags. With 20lb. air in them, all is well, smooth ride also. Lifesaver & cheap. I did however put a "T" in the air lines so I omly have one valve to deal with to change pressure. They also offer an auto kit to keep at a certain level. NICE. Easy install, all parts fit great.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma

Always wondered why these kits don't come standard with the T fitting. Its not like your gonna put a different amount of air pressure on one side or another.
