What order to disassemble rear suspension? Leaf pack first or shocks first?

Gotta air down off the pavement

 

I'd take the shocks off, ubolts and then lift the truck off the axle

 

I put it in 4lo the moment I smell dirt.

 

Always in 4lo with the amount of dust in my vents

 

I was just thankful I got the timing right. Interference motor and all. Finding another good M156 wouldn't be easy, and I'm sure the cost would quickly approach that of what I paid for the car itself.

Which shock goes on what side of the truck rear?

 

Which shocks are you using?
I've never had side specific I don't think

 

Mine are side specific, 5100’s

 

I believe it's the longer on passenger side. Do to taco lean but I maybe wrong

 

Put them in their specific location then.

There are different iterations of 5100s for 1st Gen Tacomas, and some are equal length on each side and others not.

Meaning "it doesn't matter much"

@Ozark_RegCab Did you ever go to Country Monks Brewery in Subiaco AR? I saw that today was the last day for the tap room. It appears to be temporary closing. It should reopen on Jan 1, 2024.

My kids have brought me some of their beer. I thought it was good.
