The truck carrier broke down with my new Tacoma. Now what?

@Hauser94 @maxmk8 Picked er up today! All looked great, except they forgot to clean the bed and bed mat but I didn’t care I just wanted to get out of there lol. Took it for a spin around the lot, got pictures, videos, tested 4H/4L, lights, cameras, moon roof, crawled under and took at the undercarriage, etc. Made sure to do all of this before I left the lot, honestly thanks to some of the advice I got on here from you all. They filled up the tank and I drove straight to Costco & filled the bed with a bunch of goodies then drove Taco Bell for a taco n taco pic, and finally made the 2 hour commute home up and over a steep pass. Truck ran amazing, more joy driving it than any of my other vehicles. Def was getting some head turners when I came into town! Now to find the right mods… first up will be a tonneau cover, any suggestions?

^^This. I had a Bakflip G2 and the finish started flaking off in multiple places after 2 years. Granted, I live in FL and the truck lives in the driveway, but I still don't think the finish should be coming off like that. I ended up replacing it with an ARE topper. Everything but my wallet is glad I made the change lol.

Bakflip MX4 for me and I love it....I made what some called out here the same mistakes you did....Bought the truck sight unseen, signed paperwork via FedEx including sending a cashiers check for the entire amount. I then waited a week before flying up and driving her home. I did ask for a video walk around which the salesman sent. This dealer has been great to work with, they picked me up at the airport 65 miles away and dropped me off right in front of the showroom doors with my pro sitting behind with a big SOLD sign on it. They still had the check I sent and I had to sign a few more papers, took the salesman longer to drive across the street and fill it up with gas than it did to finalize everything.
