Hope you can make it up there sometime soon. The upper peninsula is my favorite place to go by far.

Born and raised in the U.P! If you haven't been to Pictured Rocks area yet you are missing out. One of my favorite places on the planet. I wanted to ask. What is that spout attachment on your Water Can? I'm Active Duty and have access to a plethora of those cans and that attachment looks like it might be worth while.

thanks for your service! Just a cheap Amazon pump that is rechargeable, I’ll drop the link below. It can fill a 32oz Nalgene in about 30 secs. It just pressure fits over the small opening with a long hose going into the can. Works perfectly for washing hands or filling dog bowls.

I'd forgotten about this thread - here are a couple not-exciting-but-fine pics from 4th of July weekend.

I use an Exped Duo 7.5 mattress (not pictured). Fits between the wheel wells perfectly.

Friend took these long exposure photos on a Samsung Galaxy (I think?)

I went up to Flagstaff to check out the meteor shower. Also got to test out the new tent and new fire pit, ha. No luck with the meteors unfortunately. Saw tons of stars and the milky way though.

This setup served its purpose for a weekend. It was definitely not as comfortable as the old setup in my longbed though lol. Needless to say, I’m searching for a RTT now. My buddy slept much better in his setup. First two pics are a KOA in VA. Last pic is in the smoky mountains at Fontana Dam.

I've never done my backyard "extreme" 4x4 trail with a stock taco with 285s. . So we hit it on the way out. Kelly Flatts. We completed "heart attack hill" I said skip on the chutes. Honestly I've never seen a truck with less then 35s do it.

Every slider and plate got paid for on this trip. I tore a Kevlar tire open on a mountain decent. We got stuck 4 times if you include high center. back country wyoming and northern Colorado

I really like your roof top. What maker is that? Do you like it? I'm eventually going 2 upgrade my first gen CVT tent. It's just sooo big, hot, and heavy... looking for a good replacement that's not 4 to 6 k

That's a go fast camper. It's the camper and tent combined so it start around 8-9k. They used to sell just the tent portion called the super lite but they stopped for a while during the pandemic. I think it might be back now though.

they also sell a RTT that’s really similar to the camper tent. The superlite is different, kind of a hardshell soft shell combo with low weight.

Oh, never knew. Just assumed it was the same thing. I needed the pass through entry from the bed so I never really looked at it.

yeah, the camper is awesome! I have one as well and the pass through from the bed is the best.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Been working my build for over a year. Used it several times at various stages. Where we're at today:
    20220918_134554.jpg 20230529_160359.jpg 20230604_174003.jpg 20230407_170003.jpg 20230805_200728.jpg 20230414_184547.jpg
Nearly set for retirement and the idea of several day to multiple week trips to wherever. Second battery is powered by solar or alternator and is isolated from main battery. Ran my refrigerator and lights all last weekend and never got below 12.6v. Tent easily/quickly attaches/detaches to the truck, allowing me to leave to explore during the day.
