Hey Connecticut, our backs hurt

Morning all. I get a nice Saturday off...well kind of. Have to go in for a couple hours this morning but then its off to a grad party for my cousin.

Looks like a beautiful morning out there. I’ll be installing the front flares a little bit later then possibly sound deadening the back wall or electrical work.

Already put my ladder stand in the watershed land I hunt and did groceries.
Gonna fire up the Nova and hit a car show a couple miles from me.

 

All fixed.

 

Promise of rains tonight. Banking on it. Decided to wash vehicles tonight - free rinse cycle from mother nature. Gonna get wet, but always do when washing anyway.

 

Stopped by work to pick up some drill bits. Going to drill the holes in the flares bigger. But first, haircut.

 

Kiddo lost both games today by 1.

Lame. Nothing he could have done. He even saved a penalty kick in each game to keep his team in it, but no luck.

 

Found some Bugs on sale.

 

Got home from getting my haircut and it started raining.

Sun is back out, now I can continue with the flare stuff.

 

Got my flares 90% done. I need to figure out the missing screw situation.

I'm staring at the computer looking at the wiring diagrams for the ARB single compressor. I'm putting the switch in the cab and I need to find a way to get power to the relay without too much fuss and I think I just came up with a way. I'll have to pull out the relay box I installed and rewire two relay. They will be ground activated and not power like the rest.

It stopped raining but the humidity is through the roof

Sun should be out the rest of the day however.

Have to look at my nieces car later, she's having more car trouble.

Removed the fuse/relay box and also removed the wiring for the ARB compressor. Just ordered some 10 ga wire on Amazon.
First thing I'm doing is changing the 2 pin connector at the compressor with a weatherproof one.

 

A friend had a '62 Impala SS drag car lettered "Night Moves". Previous owner held NHRA records for whatever class it ran.
