We bought liquor by the case and had to have them taken to the car on a stacked dolly!
we also had a roomate with a fake ID to facilitate

They’re parishes actually here, but we just drove the 20 minutes to load up. I was in a frat, so no shortage of booze.

EDIT: Oh, back then buying was 18 and presence was 16. So, you could be in a bar, but not buy. You could drink if an accompanying adult provides. It was called the clubhouse rule.

When I was 16-20 I worked at Target. I would go to the bar with my co/workers; they would order pitchers, I would drink.
Not 'legal' but no one ever batted an eye.. it was the we DGAF rule

 

LOL… When I was 16, there was no Target. For that matter, there was no WalMart!
