And wired up some Amazon LED whips for the funs. Actually kind of surprised with the quality, they are decent. But really surprised they can be wired to the lights, so they function as turn signal, brake lights, hazards, and reverse lights. Super cool they are quick disconnects, so you don't have to leave them there all the time. That was big selling point for me. I'll have the install on these up soon.

Not sure why I dig the blue topper so much, but I like it a lot.... I never saw a topper like this with the fold out windows... Pretty unique...

 

I work for a Tier 1 supplier and the OEMs are -constantly- switching suppliers. Cost is king, followed by on-time delivery, and then quality. Sometimes things are design issues (AC drain drips on frame) and sometimes things are supplier issues (some windshields crack, others don’t).

Hey folks. I have the trd pro 4runner wheels. I’m looking to upgrade to falken 255/80/r17 tires. Anyone had anyfitment issues with these or rub of any kind?

 

I feel your pain on caps being on back order. I have the black pro wheels and my caps have been on national back order for over 8 plus months now. In the meantime I grabbed some knockoffs that look just like the OEM's from AliExpress, $25 for 4 with shipping. You may want to take a look and see if you can find them there for the short term.

Went to get some gas. A lambo was trying to race me...

 

Nothing exciting today and think I’ve had the Taco for around 3 weeks and I’m loving it more and more everyday. Anyway today just washed her and picked up some propane for a barbecue later and thought I’d hit the barber shop on the way home.

EDIT: Success although ready for a new barbecue think I can get a few more miles out of it on those New York strip steaks since my Taco is hungry for more parts

 

I did. From what I understand these are a Walmart exclusive deal, unless something has changed. It works out perfect for our V6 Tacomas since they take 6qts.

I'd race any Lamo, Ferrari, Bugatti or Koenigsegg, any day, in any weather with my Taco, under 1 condition; I choose the 1/4 mile.

 

Spend the better portion of the early afternoon putting in some rock lights that some guys were selling at a local Toyota event last night. These were 1/2 the price vs Amazon and couldn’t say no.
Wiring these up to my Auxbeam controller and switch pod makes things so much easier and cleaner.
