I couldn't remember it's name! I think it's neat and would love to give one a spin.

Fork leak is getting worse and worse.

    upload_2023-8-13_15-42-21.png

However didn't stop me from riding this morning. First time in a while!

I really need to get the fork seals replaced though because front end handling is pretty spooky.

Came here to say two things about it.

    First? Huh?

    Second? Why?

First, the Niken is the two bike with two front wheels

Second, because they are relatively rare.

I was distracted by that sexy ZXR1100. I think that’s the prettiest bike and paint scheme Kawasaki has ever made.

It's easily in my top 3 Kawasakis.. I'm hunting for one desperately but they're just a little out of my budget right now.

I was near a cycle gear store today so I went in and looked around a bit. Man they have some cool jackets. But I ended up buying a pair of dirt bike riding gloves to use as summer gloves when riding my bonnevile. I really like them, fit well, not bulky and thin in the palm. And cheap! Like 20 bucks cheap. And they will work with touch screen phones.

Then later in the day I went for a short ride on the bonneville, nice eve ING ride along lakeshore drive. I did about fifty nice slow relaxing miles, about 35mph with my helmet visor up, felt great and I really enjoyed myself. The bonneville has about 1200 miles on her now and she's getting 58 mpg. I think that's great. I really enjoy this bike and I'm glad I purchased it. No regrets at all.

My neighbor is putting his back together. So many good parts. But he might sell after. His is a 2000 with like 8k miles. Black and green and white

They do nothing for me :notsure: As a design exercise they're kinda neat, but I have zero desire to own one. I think Ari in one of the highside/lowside podcasts said theres something like 14 bearings and 8 seals in the front end alone.

Yep. I don't think I want one, but I would love to throw a leg over one for a test drive. Who knows, maybe then I would want one.

I got to sit on one at a nearby dealership. Sitting on it that front end is WIDE. I think it would be a real adjustment period after riding any "normal" bike.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I literally only thought this was a video game bike and it didn't exist in real life.
