You may not think it's funny if you tip your ride, but the bystanders will be amused.

My 16 year old daughter who is just working on getting her license, looking at these photographs and videos, just stated that she wants to join us on a trip next year. That warms my heart and makes me a proud dad. She sees how much fun we are having and appreciates this and understands me a little better now I think.:D

@Aztec120 you're already showing your girl how much fun we can have out there and you're a great dad showing her some serious fun camping (and great camp food!). Creating some great memories with her that you will both cherish!

    That's awesome!

Are you going to let her drive through the trails?

After she gets your nod of approval, I'm down to have her learn how to drive on the right side too. Combine that with some manual trans training and she'll dominate the globe.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Just watched through my videos, some pretty good some meh. My camera, it turns out was running the whole time we recovered that SxS. Most of it, you don't see much but my hood.

Watching that vid though, that whole process went fairly quick.

Will post links when I get some stuff up.

HAHA! Nope. She can drive on the trails when she gets her own truck! She does love the Voodoo Blue, so maybe this can be her first truck someday. For now, she's more interested in the camping and nature. When I showed her the pics of the mushrooms that I found this weekend she got excited. She loves being outdoors, and I'd like to take some credit for that, taking her camping a lot as a young tot. (Take note @Aztec120 )

One of the reasons I've kept my old Audi was because I wanted it to be her first car, and it's a 6-speed manual. I remember my dad teaching me how to drive manual. Intimidating as hell at first, but soon it was like riding a bike. She ain't afraid of it. I can set the tune back to stock for her to learn before she takes it for track days. She also told me tonight that she only has 2 hours left of the required 30 for her online portion of driver's ed. She'll learn on the road in my wife's Tiguan, but methinks I need to put a little time and $$$ into getting the old Audi road worthy again real soon.

@Supr4Lo , sorry I missed you this trip. Hopefully we'll run into each other again! Safe travels and enjoy the move. @Chris In Milwaukee will no longer be in Milwaukee in a couple of months. We're heading up to da nort woods on da nortwest side. No kids, no city!

Catch you on the flip side!

You should stay in touch with @pearing and @LarryDangerfield, our current northern contingent dudes. Lots of areas to explore. Have a good move!

Also thanks @LarryDangerfield for steering me right. Walked around bond falls yesterday and eventually found a cool camping spot next to this

Yes indeed. I'll be very close to @pearing if I recall. I'll be in Chetek.

I'll likely be in the middle of the move during the Bayfield trip but we'll see what shakes out!
