Tell me about it. That alone took 5 hours to print and its 85% hollow, doing a set is going to be most of a day.

Thankfully this part does not need to be solid, actually 3D printing is better IMO as you can create "solids" that are air inside, unlike traditional manufacturing that has to use thin features with support ribs. I would argue that this part, with only 1.5 walls and 85% empty space, is stronger than the OEM piece.

Count me in for a set of LED brackets.

2018 with retrofit stock TRD LEDs

I'm like another poster I also really need the lower radiator slide in bit. If you do get a work around for that one let me know I'll buy 2 if them right away.

Keep up the good work !!

The lower bit is proving a challenge but I need these as well so I'll get there. No matter how I design the lower piece you likely will need to do some sanding/trimming of the headlight housing to ensure the remaining parts are cut back far enough to allow the replacement to fit.

These tabs/wings should fit both LED and halogen, and will be sold as a separate kit when I get them done.

    Neverending difficulties with these.

When 3d printing you can't have overhangs, you have to build up removable "support". Well this support is in a difficult position and I have broke two tabs removing it. Need to find tune my settings better.

@Firn was kind enough to send me some tabs to test out on my morimotos. They did require a bit of modification to get to fit, but overall a cool product that will give me a little more peace of mind with my investment into these aftermarket headlights.

see description and images of modifications below:

    - had to widen out the channels on the inboard tab as the ribs on the morimotos must not be in the same location as OEM
    - had to trim some of the little plastic nubs on the inboard and outboard tabs since they didn’t line up with the holes on my housings
-had to trim one corner of the outboard tab and taper it.
    - the only spot that really didn’t line up is the outside edge of the outboard tab. In the pics you can see a slight gap since the angles in the tab don’t match the housing. Epoxy should fill that in no problem.

this was all easy enough to do with a blade and dremel as the material is easy to work with.

    Thank you, @Firn !

Its labeled and ready to go, it will go out with the mail tomorrow. Oddly enough I found that the mailman picking up at my house has MUCH better tracking and likelihood of arriving than if I drop it in the big blue box

All good. Is it worth while to scuff everything up before bonding them?

    Yes

The plastic toyota uses for the housings is difficult to bond to so a good cleaning, scuffing, and wipe down with isopropyl alcohol is recomended.

You will only need one set. It is six pieces and will do the top two tabs as well as the outside tab where the bumper mounts for both sides.
