I guess you don’t realize that I don’t need to actually run it, to know that it pulls 9

Knowing it’ll do it on paper and doing it in the real world is two different things my friend.

For sure it would be a good race . He’d probably get me on the big end though .
Unless I was on my bike I might get him on both ends. Although I did remove my top speed governor. But I did gear it for more bottom end with one tooth down in the front and one up in the back. So instead of a top speed at almost 200 mph I’d should be at about 170ish .

I managed to install my auto lock OEM tailgate on my 2021 TRDOR with the help of TW! Was relatively easy and accomplished with tools and equipment I already had handy. Total of about 2 hours and it for sure could have been done faster. I had to take multiple breaks due to the 105F temp outside today!

Swapped out my yellow led fog light bulbs to some 6000k to match the headlights. Also swapped my grill lights to clear ones. I like this look better since it flows much nicer.

I'll get you a couple pics later today. My wheel wells look like crumpled paper so they are not winning any beauty contests.

I'm done for now. Somewhat. Still not even 800 miles on it, but figured I'd get a lot done now. RSI Evo A cap, bed stiffeners, roof crossbars, RC bed mat, tailgate seals, Icon RXT (stage 1) leafs, Cosmoline RP-342 underneath, 265/70/17s Falkens with new wheels (off my Tahoe), RC 32" light bar in the lower grill with Cali raised dual switch in the extra dash opening, Proscreen protectors, seat jackers, LED interior lighting, leather center console cover, glovebox organizer, center console organizer/tray, OEM tailgate lock actuator. Still to do. Build some Bam Bed ripoffs, put on my awning, get her tinted, and head out camping!PXL_20230812_182453732.jpg

Went to Safelite myself for replacement because insurance stated recalibration was required. However, Safelite claimed they were unable to calibrate because the truck is lifted. Might want to double-check with Safelite if you're lifted, before wasting time.

No, when checked with insurance, they said $500 is deductible.

It's an add-on coverage that I pay for with mine (state farm). I've never seen it included by default on any policy.

As I’ve read here, safelight just refused to do my calibration because of lift/tires last week. Dealership quoted me 1hr and it wound up being $244. 2 other shops in town said they could do the calibration and quoted $300-325

    THAT'S what happened!!?????

I, too have done the DS-18 switch. Accomplished in about 20 minutes Sunday morning. Didn't know how much difference that would really make. From all the TW videos I saw, I showed up with both 7mm and 10mm. On the 23, only 10mm was needed. I was britting shicks that I was going to drop that 10mm into the hole when swapping the actual speakers. That thing seemed bottomless potential!

The big test for me was freeway speeds with the window down. Didn't need to adjust the volume at all to continue hearing Free Bird jam!

I always add comprehensive coverage to my vehicles even if I don't have collision. Cost around $10 per month. No deductible for broken glass, windshields, wrecks with animals (deer, etc), theft, vandalism, hail, etc. Never paid one penny out of pocket for several cracked windshields including my 3rd gen (twice). I did pay $145 total out of pocket one time, to a local auto glass installer like Safelite, to replace a windshield in an older car, that was pitted, without using my insurance. They did that in my driveway as well.
I always add the medical expense coverage for $8 per month. The medical covers any injury sustained in an accident even if I am a passenger in someone elses car. That pays up to $25k in expenses but is multiplied by the 3 vehicles on my policy for a $75k medical expense. Used that more than once. Covered all my bills however my health insurance reimbursed State Farm.
