Selling my Diamondback HD for 1500 on Marketplace. I’d do 1400 for the TW peeps

upload_2023-8-12_16-11-3.jpg There’s zero wrong with it. Just not my flavor and want to look at low profiles and some other goodies for my taco. Came on the truck when I bought it.

Have a like-new pair of Rockford Fosgate Punch P1675 3-Way speakers that I'm about to put on FBMP/Craigslist but wanted to offer them up here for less if anyone can use them. They'll fit in the front or rear doors of a 3rd Gen double cab (not sure about access cab) - non JBL system. They retail for $130/pair. $50 to a TW alumni for the pair. Will include rear door mounting brackets. You'd just need the front or rear speaker wire adapters and Metra 82-8147 mounting brackets if you're installing them in the front doors.

Pickup just south of PDX or plus postage (about 6 lbs.?) from 97070.

    Crutchfield details:

    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_575P167/Rockford-Fosgate-P1675.html
(Noticed that Crutchfield indicates that they won't fit the rear doors for some reason, but I had them installed in the rear doors and they fit fine.)

I went with a matching set of Infinity Reference speakers front and back. Honestly these RFs sounded just as good in the back.

Note: The cones in the photos show some reflections, but they're smooth and clean.

Send me a conversation if interested. TIA!

Good question. According to @SagWagon, the JBL system has 2 ohm speakers. So these wouldn't be the best choice.

this just means they will fit. It doesn’t make them a good choice for the jbl system. You need 2 ohm speakers for jbl. If you install these, expect them to be half volume!

Not exactly how it works since it isn't one-for-one, but a higher impedance speaker than the amplifier is designed to drive can result in a decrease in volume because the amplifier may not be able to deliver the same amount of power to the higher impedance speaker. So agreed, if the JBL system has 2 ohm speakers, they should be replaced with 2 ohm speakers. Edited my posts.

Just pulled these off my truck and replaced with new pre-assembled hubs. Anyone interested in these to rebuild with new bearings? Free.99 in Kent, East Hill if anyone wants them. Off a 2011 Tacoma, originals. They made it 124k miles.

Well, I didn't want to upset anyone with my thoughts on the predators. The BAMF however are way better in my opinion.

Predator steps are fine, if you never leave the pavement... but I've seen a ton of amputated steps, when people take them on mild trails.

And the pedo name is funny, when applied to a device used to help children into your truck.

That's funny. You forgot to mention the shin hit is almost like hitting a trailer hitch. They are however super lightweight aluminum.

Thanks for the reminder and details on why 2ohm speakers are needed in my situation, appreciate it!
