Take the valve stem out and put the thing in the sun for a couple hours. Then spin it in the wheel and try to get everything uniform when airing it back up

That generator motor most likely had a tapered shaft, so it would have been hard to use it for the flail.

Get that motor installed! I want to see what this can do!

I'd try what @DES2009 said for the tire. I'd also check to make sure the rim is actually round and not bent. It's not a road tire so you can probably live with it, but I'd try to fix it first. If you can't fix it I'd try calling their help line and see if they will send you a new wheel.
I also found a digital copy of the manual and posted it below.
From readding the Q&A when I bought it I thought it was supposed to come with the oil. I just checked and this is what I found.

Weird. It has a dip stick for the transmission and it’s barely reading on the stick

Hmm, I think I'd call them on both issues, just to see what I could get out of them.

I found this video on the assembly of the RT model. Not the best video, but better than nothing. https://youtu.be/QIRFZ6E6Nw8

I've found this happens quite often. They only put enough oil/gear lube just to test them.

Same thing with the engines. They come shipped with a half of quart of engine oil. They only need enough oil for the pump to pick up and pressurize the system.

I am curious about that tire. My guess is the primary cord/ wire is fine, but the secondary cord is broke causing a bulge.

Didn't you get a hella deal on the tiller? I'd just get a tire and have it on hand for when it fails.

The Chinese NHS tires are just horrible. No mater the service.

We nick name them "Mai Pop".

yeah looks like a bad bead set or a bad bead on the tire. drop all the air & give it a once over then put it back on.

worst thing gonna happen is you have to tube it for $6.

    Me too lol.

Plan is to throw the motor on it and see how it does cutting my normal stuff at my cabin. Grass and briars type situation. I still want to change to a heavier knife, but I'd like to see if I have to, or just want to, basically does it cut or not as is.

Also, I still don't understand how the thing has no clutch and you simply start it motor and drum at once.

So plan is to get it running, test it, then strip it over the off season and repaint it and change knives if need be. Reassemble, probably integrate a idler pulley and clutch (or something like this if I have my way https://www.surpluscenter.com/Brands/Ogura/12-Volt-DC-Electric-Clutch-Brake-25mm-bore-1-5724.axd) some way and make a front mount for my SxS and then move on to the next project which will either be a FEL for my kubota, or log splitter.

Tire still looks like it’s going to pop off the rim but the tiller works! Found out I have a lot of rocks in my ground but the soil looks very fertile.

Man, came here to check up on you. You hadn't posted in "Anything Welding" in so long I thought maybe you bought a Lexus and decided to join a wine and cheese tasting group.

Got my Champion tiller in today. Still have a LF ordered but if all I get is one I'll be happy, I still have my Arians Rocket tiller and that thing will still be running when the world ends.

Patients grasshopper, this was too good of a price to get in a hurry. What does the tracking say for your delivery now? Wasn't yours going to the store? Mine says it was shipped on Aug 9th, and est delivery Aug 24th. And the charge cleared my account on the 10th.

After way tooo long at the shop for warranty work bad valve, push rod and rocker arm I got my mower back and not three days later did I realize I no longer have a utility trailer. My 4x6 I didn’t put the lock back on and now it’s gone! :frusty:

I had it on Thursday, realized it was gone when I pulled into the drive after work today.

I might have to build a 5x8 kit trailer or something I don’t know at this point.
