    That's a horrible idea. What time?

    Nice. We drove out to Camp Sierra Chino on river Road West last year, day trip. We tried getting out to the gauging station and Johnson Ranch, but we were solo and making new tracks. It was getting a little soft without good winch points, so we went back in.

    That's a horrible idea. What time?
    My wife isn't a camper although we stayed in off grid yurts about 15 miles from the park entrance. I hope to get a tent back on the truck and do some of the camping when I retire. When we were there was just after all the monsoon damage and River Road didn't connect in the middle as well as some of the roads on the SE side. If there had been another truck with us we would have pushed out to the ranch, but that road has a lot of river sediment and I just didn't trust it. And I don't have a sand anchor.
