Have you called the 800# or the store? I'd do it tonight if you haven't already. Maybe they just haven't updated it arrival at the store. :notsure: You also might try looking on HD's website instead of the app, I think it might show more information. If you click on the "view shipment events" it might give some more info.

That's enough to piss you off. When I lived in WA, I lost riding mower and a window AC unit like that.:annoyed:

I called the 800 number Friday and it was just an automated thing that said my order is on my way to the store. Might have to log on to my PC to see if it gives me more detail.

Try looking on your PC, see if their is an ABF tracking#, but you might also try calling the store in Hagerstown using the local phone number not the national 800# so you can get a live person. If the PC doesn't show it, you might be able ask them for the ABF tracking number and then go on the ABF website and search to see where in their system it is currently.

The Home Depot order tracking thing finally updated itself. Says it should be at the store today, but I doubt it. Does seem like it's moving it's ways through. Wonder if the route is moving Northward.

Supposedly my second tiller tiller shipped today so we will see what happens. Got my Champion yesterday and the LF one which I ordered earlier is the one that is now being shipped. It sat in the ordered ''bin'' until today when I received the E-mail that is was on it's way and who the shipper was.

    Been busy, Ferris update:

Keyswitch did indeed fry, and when it did it took out the (inverted) seat switch. Traced my no crank issue to that, pulled the connector, jumped the terminals and have power back to the relays as the wiring diagram indicates. Lucky it didn't take more than a few minutes of tracing wires to figure out.

As for the constantly popping IGN switch:

I tested the stator weeks ago, checked out fine. However, it’s got an intermittent short to ground. that explains why it keeps popping the IGN fuse. Figures that each time I tested it was fine, but I did it again and wiggled the wires a bit, both terminals short to ground off and on. I can only imagine when it runs the vibrations make make it short almost continuously. It also explains why sometimes I'd get 30VAC out of it, sometimes only 15VAC.

New stator and regulator set will be here today. It was like $5 more to get one with a reg, so why not? I opted for the 10/16A set that’s externally regulated rather than the dual circuit 14v AC/ 3A DC unregulated circuit. It appears they’re identical but the 10/16 doesn’t come with that stupid diode to drop one leg to 3A DC unregulated. Looks like I got to the bottom of it, next time I’ll wiggle and check stator wires before purchase and negotiate the price a bit better. My lesson for the week: RECHECK everything even if it was verified previously. Could have saved myself a lot of headache.

I saw one of your discounted Tillers being flipped on FBM yesterday, asking price was like $350 for the LF(?) one. It had red wheels anyways.

Some footage of the Flail in action and by action I mean just running and sitting still:

    Turn your audio down!!!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEfV4r61Ndo

So I ordered a new pulley then got impatient and ordered one 1/2" smaller diameter from Amazon to test with, so ignore the belt flopping, I just wanted to see this thing run. currently the pulley is 4.5" and the motor was set for a 5.25" pulley. Also apologies for not getting a better view of underneath it while running, this thing is not to be trifled with running, so I got scared and told myself "good enough".

I did order an electric clutch for it and a replacement 5.25" pulley from surpluscenter, but I was able to pull start and also electric start it as is, so I might let that slide for now. Plan is to pop the motor off, give the blades a quick once over and throw it back together to see how it cuts. I do think it rides too low for what I need, and I really want to get 15" tires to fit on it as the 13" on it are too narrow for the weight, even if it says different. With the motor sitting on the one wheel, it looks stressed. I will need to figure that out. I also want to weld on some angles to deflect around trees as opposed to smashing into them as it currently would. I also need to lengthen the tongue as it is very hard to back up since it sits very close to my SxS. Probably wouldn't be a big deal on one of my riders or tractor, but the SxS with the bed and motor on the Flail being right there feels like a problem waiting to happen.

I did make an adjustable link since it had a piece of angle with holes drilled in it upon my possession. Since I can pull this with multiple things, I needed a way to adjust it easily.

End of season it will get stripped down, sanded, panted and probably make a rig to front mount it to my Pioneer if possible.

I did take it through my yard for a pass, it never skipped a beat, but I plan on cutting heavier, taller stuff at my cabin so not really a good test. I can tell it is going to need more height adjustment built in than it currently has. I can only raise it up another 1/2" or so. Grass is only like 2" long post cut here. I could make a putting green with this baby fully lowered lol.

Did your tiller show up at the store? Tracking just updated showing my tiller received by the local delivery co today.

Edit: I actually got an email and an automated phone call this evening telling me my tiller will be delivered tomorrow. :fingerscrossed:
