    Yes.

For the same piece as the warn Evo 8 you get the synthetic line and wireless controller.

I did the black friday deals too but went with the Warn Zeon 10s. Best deal I could find for the winch was just over 1,700. Didn't know it at the time but it came with $100 gift card so I got 2 soft shackles for free. Still a lot of cheddar...

Gps deal on the zeon! Can't go wrong with free shackles. I also picked up a couple of the soft shackles for the sdhq recovery points.

Yeah, that a lot of cheddar for sure! But if I were doing serious crawling or lots of trips out in no man's land I'd consider that a smart purchase. That thing isn't going to fail you!

Did you notice any difference in driving characteristics or sag with the added weight? I tentatively have plans to do a hybrid bumper, and no real plans to upgrade the suspension, but am a little worried about weight sag and my wheels/tires barely fitting now on stock suspension (FN FX pros and Wildpeaks... which rubbed until I took off the mudflaps).

Install took me about 5 hours and went smoothly. Went with a Warn 8000.20190405_143906.jpg

I had about a 5/16" of sag after install. I'm running Kings w/700lbs springs.

No sag but my truck has less than 3k on it, everything is still stiff and new. Probably will sag more as everything gets worn in... Mine was spot on before and after the install.

Anyone running a lower grill LED bar above the winch? Would this work?

SDHQ's website shows a lower grill light bar with their set up on the web site (if you look at all the install pics). I haven't added a light bar so I can't say for sure.

Quite a few things at this point..
I know this is from a good while ago now, but how did you deal with the control box? Did you have to get a mount?

At first I just had it zip tied to the brace behind the grill. I ended up buying the mounting plate from tandem offroad.
Im switching to a C4 high clearance bumper next week. Finally coming in! I'll be selling the old stuff in the for sale section. Keep an eye out if you need!

I installed the sqhd hidden winch mount with a rough country winch and synethic line, I've had it on for a year now hidden, prior to that the winch was on a receiver hitch mount for about a year. Never used it for offroading yet. But pulled out a bunch of root balls from trees and bushes, pull an engine out of a civic, and moved a shed on a concrete 8' x 10' slab, so it's has been used and have had no issues with either.

Do the 2 recover points mount to and directly attach to the frame?

I think the two recovery points are supportive to the tray, but yes they are direct on the frame. The welds are immaculate.

Do you need to install frame re-enforcement brackets.

depends on what you're doing with it.

i liked the sdhq version because it has the additional tie-off point brackets that extend off the bottom and connect to the sub frame.

i won't say that it makes it any stronger than other variants, but it offers at least a little more stiffness.

if you're hauling loaded cattle trucks out of ditches every day, frame reinforcement brackets would be a good idea.
