They worked on the opposite side.

Anyone know if that's a job I can do myself and what is required? New everything for breaks or just clean ?

Very easy job, I would say 2 out of 10 on the scale of work. You will need to purchase new rear drum shoes (in case current ones are worn). Wheel cylinder, brake lines wrench 10mm and brake fluid. You may also want to have drum brake hardware (all the springs) available too in case one of them is damaged or broken.

And how long would Eugene drive with a pinched off brake line? :anonymous:

Well the last time I lost my brakes I drove all the way from Manitoulin island on a single front calliper. Mind you if you pinch brake line, you will need to replace that line as well.

Looks like I over ordered. I have an extra set of OE size replacement UCA bushing is anyone needs. Price, rock auto market value (save the rock auto shipping).

More Information for MEVOTECH MS86411 (rockauto.com)
    AIL4fc-1Tj8DYLfXwwDJljd-OFIO9PAswM9zHg2G_72b7d9be0d8a4aa836857611e4bb7068f6358f8a.jpg

Fwiw, these were ordered after the last trip as there was a new creek to the front end when braking. Found that the UCA bolt was loose'ish (~20ft lbs) and torqueing back up to factory consumed 1/4" of fresh bolt thread. Measuring against the new, that all pulled in from the rear bushing, both sides. I thought its a metal sleeve, how does that crush??? This is 100% of Moog components on the Rancho UCA's that has failed in 20kkm!!

I haven't opened anything up yet. Gonna have to wait. I'm not sure I need an extra, it's not like it blew up wheeling. Lasted 7 years.

I haz push to start option as well...but the "press brake pedal" seems counter intuitive

Fun fact, you can turn it on without pressing the brake if you hold the fob to the button and hold it for 10 seconds or so
