Yep, Limited or SR5 don't matter.

Maybe them 2nd gens aren't so great after all.

It was meant to be a sarcastic comment, but somehow the sarcasm seems to get lost when it has to be explained. But maybe is was just too obscure.

 

My bad, it was a long Monday haha. It’s been crazy how much 2nd gens have been going for. People were asking 20 grand for one with 250k on the clock. Maybe people aren’t willing to pay that anymore.

 

God damn, dude just posted cutting some 1/4"

Now, I get some real nice clean cuts on 1/4" and the rule is between 35 to 45 IPM for just about every CNC plasma out there (unless going water jet, etc).



This dude got some amazing edges but not-so-great holes at only 6 IPM (which is WAY too slow, too much heat)



I may have to try something along those lines to see if I get the same results. However, the dude is off his shit cause he runs a water table without water we'll see him soon when he needs a new water table

 

Joke's on you he owns a CNC table, he can cut a new water table.

 

I don't know if he knows how to manually nest to cut items larger than his cutting area if he can't figure out filling his water table to begin with

Dude is running Mach 3 and I don't see a nest option



Firecontrol does

 

Mach 3 is good software. Probably kind of overkill for a cutting table. That said it probably has better canned functions.

 

Yeah I think you mentioned having experience with Mach 3 right?

It's been the standard for so long, but man Firecontrol is definitely nice to work off of as well.

Mach 3 guys get to use a gaming controller to jog their torch though, not us Firecontrol users
