Hey y'all! Arizona transplant here who just moved to Washington for the summer. I'm looking for some kind of DIY garage place in the Olympia/Tacoma area where I can do some maintenance on my truck. Does something like this exist around here?

There is Stew’s self service garage in Auburn, which is closer to you than their Kirkland location. I believe if you are an Avants member you get a discount as well. Me and a few others are members for car discounts, etc.

Hey folks, I've got the perennial question, can anyone recommend a shop to do a suspension install around Seattle? I'm looking at getting a mid travel setup, going back and forth between Bilstein and Fox depending on how my wallet is feeling, so if the shop only does installs on what they stock and they have Bilstein/Fox that works as I haven't bought anything yet.

Only stage-1 style (daily driver), looking for a 1-2" lift with a couple hundred pounds of extra stuff installed. I've googled around, the answers I've found are years old (and half the shops recommended are closed) or say to ask here.

Q: Why don't you do it yourself?
A: I don't have tools/inclination/space/experience and can't have the daily driver out of commission if I screw it up.

I’ve had great service from the Overland Truck Store Garage in Bremerton...bumper, winch, lift, dual batteries etc...fast and clean work at reasonable prices...give Kyle a call...

First time hearing about Avants but I've used Stews a couple time and love it, other than the price. I don't see Stews listed on their partner page (https://www.avants.com/partners-seattle), what's the discount come out to?

Anyone have a spare front diff mounting arms? Specifically the pass side one? Really would just need something to compare to determine if mine is bent

So, I think I got a refrigerant leak because my AC ain't as cold as it used to be.
Can anyone recommend a reputable mechanic to inspect/refill in Portland?

Hey fellow PNW taco lovers, I was looking for a good shop to get my new Eibach pro shocks installed at they don’t need to do it for cheap I’m just hoping to find a reputable place that will do a sound job. I live in the Vancouver, WA area so anywhere within 60 or so miles of there would be preferred!

Hm I thought they did, Stew posts, or did post often on Avants. I can try to find out.

When's the last time you cleaned your cabin filter?

Mine gets a warm A/C temp until I blow out the filter.

Front and Rear Locked, 35’s, Chevy 63” swap, Fox Suspension and a bunch of other shit too long to list.
Is there anyone that lives over near Yakima that can snag me something and mail it to me? It’s small… say small enough to fit in a differential.

Late to the party, but Auburn Car Repair and Offroad is my go-to. They've done a good bit of work on my truck, and my friends' vehicles. Avants member discount as well, I saw some other folks talking about Avants, and it was worth noting.

Avants is great. Lotsa discounts from different partners. A new one with BFG started not too long ago. I pinged my contact at Avants to get clarification on if Stew's garage is still a partner/offers a discount.

The folks I've met in the club have been great. I volunteer with Avants Off-Road and Avants Fest.

And my contact just got back to me, that was fast, lol. Stew's felt they already have great pricing and service so no need to partner any longer, so no discount through Avants at this time.

Thanks. I am glad Stews exists and it comes in very handy when using it, but it's still sometimes a bit steep for some jobs, especially when I'm slow at getting the thing done or don't know how long it will take.
